Paper Based Microfluidics For Food Safety | Callgirlsgurgaon.com
To meet the severe food legislation and consumer demands, food analysis requires speedy, accurate, sensitive, and cost-effective ways to monitor and ensure the safety and quality. A versatile paper-based microfluidic aptasensor with nanomaterials was created as a sensing instrument for accurate detection of food allergies and poisons in this work. The fluorescence quenching and recovery of the QDs generated by the interaction between GO, aptamer-functionalized QDs, and the target protein were examined to quantitatively measure the target concentration using graphene oxide (GO) and specific aptamer-functionalized quantum dots (QDs) as probes.
The homogeneous assay was carried out on a paper-based microfluidic device, which lowered sample and reagent use while also shortening the assay time. The aptasensor effectively assessed egg white lysozyme, ß-conglutin lupine and food toxins, okadaic acid and brevetoxin standard solutions, and spiked food samples. When evaluating the samples with commercial enzyme linked immunosorbent assay kits side by side, the dual-target assay took only 5 minutes and yielded improved sensitivities.
